Plants are really important for the planet and for all living things. Plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen from their leaves, which humans and other animals need to breathe. Living things need plants to live. Plants help to clean water too.

PLANTS ARE REALLY IMPORTANT FOR THE PLANET AND FOR ALL LIVING THINGS. PLANTS ABSORB CARBON DIOXIDE AND RELEASE OXYGEN FROM THEIR LEAVES, WHICH HUMANS AND OTHER ANIMALS NEED TO BREATHE. LIVING THINGS NEED PLANTS TO LIVE. PLANTS HELP TO CLEAN WATER TOO.

Hi Kids, this dictation is for Friday October 22nd.

IT ISN'T HARD TO PLANT POTATOES. FIRST, YOU TAKE A SMALL POTATO AND CUT IT IN FOUR PIECES. BE SURE EACH PIECE HAS ONE OR TWO EYES WHERE IT WILL BEGIN TO GROW. SECOND, PUT THE PIECES IN WATER FOR ONE DAY. THIRD, PLANT EACH POTATO PIECE UNDER THE SOIL. FOURTH, WATER THE SOIL ONE OR TWO TIMES A WEEK.

It isn't hard to plant potatoes. First, you take a small potato and cut it in four pieces. Be sure each piece has one or two eyes where it will begin to grow. Second, put the pieces in water for one day. Third, plant each potato piece under the soil. Fourth, water the soil one or two times a week.

THIS IS THE STORY OF TWO CROCODILES: THE ENORMOUS CROCODILE AND THE NOTSOBIG ONE. THEY WERE IN A RIVER OF AFRICA. THE ENORMOUS CROCODILE WAS VERY HUNGRY AND HE WANTED TO EAT A FAT JUICY CHILD. THE NOTSOBIG ONE SAID HE DIDN’T LIKE CHILDREN BECAUSE THEY WERE TOUGH, CHEWY AND BITTER.

This is the story of two crocodiles: the Enormous Crocodile and the Notsobig One. They were in a river of Africa. The enormous crocodile was very hungry and he wanted to eat a fat juicy child. The Notsobig one said he didn’t like children because they were tough, chewy and bitter.
